More sneak peeks are surfacing for the upcoming Heat the Pig Liver anime adaptation, based on the light novels penned by Takuma Sakai and Asagi Tosaka. Japanese viewers can look forward to the TV anime’s premiere on October 7. An intriguing character trailer featuring deuteragonist Jess has been released as part of the promotional material.
The direction of Heat the Pig Liver anime is entrusted to Masayuki Takahashi, known for his role as an assistant director on Reborn as a Vending Machine. Overseeing the series composition for this project is Deko Akao, working under No. 9 production.
Heat the Pig Liver takes place in an isekai setting, where entering another world occurs when one loses consciousness while consuming raw pig liver. The narrative follows an otaku who undergoes this peculiar transformation and is reborn as a pig. Subsequently, he embarks on exciting adventures alongside a girl named Jess. Yoshitsugu Matsuoka lends his voice to the pig protagonist, while Tomori Kusunoki portrays Jess. Notably, both actors previously portrayed these roles in a promotional video for the light novels.
