What Is Quartz?
Think of Quartz as your gateway to unlocking and upgrading your P-Organ, granting you new abilities and enhancing your overall prowess. You can unlock your P-Organ after completing the Krat City Hall section of the game and defeating the formidable Scrapped Watchman. Once you’ve achieved this milestone, visit Gepetto in Hotel Krat to trigger a crucial cutscene that allows you to select which aspect of your P-Organ you want to strengthen with Quartz.
Quartz Locations
Quartz is scattered throughout Krat, obtainable through different means, often without immediate recognition. To acquire Quartz, focus on three primary avenues: Main Bosses, Optional Bosses, and Hidden Locations.
Main Bosses
The main campaign of Lies Of P features a diverse array of bosses, from colossal puppets to enraged humans, each posing a significant challenge. Typically, you’ll obtain at least one Quartz from each main boss you defeat. Since these bosses are integral to the game’s progression, you don’t need to go out of your way to collect Quartz; it comes naturally as you advance through the story. However, it’s important to note that humanoid bosses, such as the Mad Donkey Boss on Elysion Boulevard and the optional Mad Survivor Boss in the Krat Puppet Factory, do not drop Quartz. Instead, they reward you with unique costumes.
Optional Bosses
While not necessary to advance the storyline, Lies Of P offers optional bosses that provide formidable challenges and valuable rewards. Not all optional bosses drop Quartz; some may yield rare materials or costumes instead. For instance, the Puppet of the Future, an optional boss in the Krat Puppet Factory, awards you with both a Radiant Ergo and a Quartz upon defeat. Special Ergos, however, are exclusive to story bosses and not available from optional encounters.
Hidden Locations

One such location is inside apartment 221B, just outside the second Stargazer on Elysion Boulevard.
