In Co-op Mode, Baldur’s Gate 3 Players Accidentally Amass an Army of Gales

In a delightful twist of fate, two players of Baldur’s Gate 3 inadvertently embarked on a co-op campaign that turned into an unexpected “Gale convention.” Gale, one of the game’s beloved companions, served as the unintentional inspiration for both players, leading to an amusing and unexpected turn of events.

Shared on Twitter, the players recounted their comical experience. Each player independently created characters that strikingly resembled Gale, believing they were crafting unique and humorous character designs. To their astonishment, their co-op party ended up consisting of three nearly identical-looking casters and a rogue.

In a humorous video attached to the tweet, the Gale lookalike character can be seen pulling the genuine Gale from an “unstable portal” in Act 1. The expressions on their faces as the camera pans between the two Gales are priceless, with the doppelganger appearing genuinely shocked to encounter someone with his exact appearance.

Responding to a fan’s request for a picture of the full Gale squad, the player shared an image showcasing an entire group of Gales, all dressed in identical outfits, standing together in what can only be described as a whimsical case of “Galeception.”

For those unfamiliar with Gale, he is a human wizard known for his knowledge and potent spells, and he has been at the center of other amusing incidents in the game. Baldur’s Gate 3 continues to captivate and surprise its players, whether through squads of Gales or the unexpected quirks of its AI.
