Saber Interactive has officially canceled the release of Evil Dead: The Game on the Nintendo Switch. The announcement did not provide a specific reason for the cancellation, but it also mentioned that there would be no further development of new content for the game on other platforms. Despite this, the game’s servers will remain operational for the “foreseeable future,” with any significant issues being addressed.

Evil Dead: The Game faced several delays before its eventual release on other platforms. The last update regarding the Switch version was quite some time ago, with Saber Interactive and Boss Games initially confirming its release on Nintendo’s hybrid platform. Unfortunately, this plan has now been abandoned.

In this game, players took on the roles of characters like Ash Williams (portrayed by Bruce Campbell) and other survivors, working together to seal a breach between worlds in both cooperative and player-versus-player multiplayer modes. While the Nintendo Switch won’t see the release of Evil Dead: The Game, it is still available on other platforms for those interested in playing it.
