ADK Emotions NY Inc. and Tomy Company, Ltd.’s subsidiary, T-Licensing Inc., have exciting news for Beyblade fans around the world. The television anime adaptation of Takara Tomy’s Beyblade X project will be available for “broadcast” outside of Asia in 2024.

The companies are showcasing the franchise at the New York Toy Fair 2023 and have big plans for a global licensing program. They are actively exploring non-toy licensing categories such as apparel, back-to-school items, party goods, food/snacks, publishing, QSR (Quick Service Restaurants) promotions, collectibles, gaming, and apps.

The Beyblade X anime is set to debut in Japan on TV Tokyo and its affiliates starting on October 6. The series features a talented voice cast, including Sōma Saitō as X Kurosu, Shūichirō Umeda as Bird Kazami, and Ruriko Noguchi as Multi Nanairo.

Renowned Beyblade series veteran Katsuhito Akiyama serves as the chief director for the anime, with Sotsu Terada directing the series at OLM. The original series concept and scenario assistance come from Hikaru Muno, while Kazuho Hyodo is responsible for the series scripts. Posuka Demizu, known for The Promised Neverland, created the original character designs, adapted for animation by Yoshihiro Nagamori.

The Beyblade X project, announced by Takara Tomy in March, marks the “4th generation” of Beyblade, following the original 1999 Beyblade, Beyblade: Metal Fusion (Metal Fight Beyblade) in 2008, and Beyblade Burst in 2015.

The Beyblade X manga, authored by Homura Kawamoto, Hikaru Muno, and Posuka Demizu, commenced serialization in Shogakukan’s Monthly Coro Coro Comics magazine in June. It follows a young boy striving to become a professional Beyblade player and introduces new gear and abilities for Beyblade battles.
For Beyblade enthusiasts, this upcoming international release promises exciting adventures and thrilling battles with the iconic spinning tops.
