Nintendo has revealed that Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s DLC, “The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero,” will receive a full international physical release on November 3rd. This physical copy will include the current version of the game, along with “The Teal Mask DLC.” However, it will require an update once the second part of the DLC, “The Indigo Disk,” is released, although no release date for the latter has been announced yet.
While the concept of a physical DLC cartridge is somewhat unusual, those who purchase it will also receive a Serial Code for 100 Poké Balls, which will be useful for catching the additional Pokémon introduced via the DLC.
Details about pre-orders and pricing for this physical edition have not been disclosed yet, but fans are eagerly anticipating the second part of the DLC with hopes for a more satisfying experience.
