To gain access to the locked door in Repine, players must embark on a quest to locate four unique items and combine them into a key-like artifact known as the Cypher. While the first three items are relatively straightforward to obtain, securing the fourth requires solving a particularly tricky puzzle.

Finding the Vital Data Strips

To unlock the enigmatic door in Repine, you’ll need the Cypher, and to craft the Cypher, you must first gather four Data Strips, each hidden in a different corner of the Sea of Stars world. Their acquisition order doesn’t matter, so explore at your own pace. Here’s a comprehensive guide to tracking down all four Data Strips:

Location of the First Data Strip

The initial Data Strip can be found in Repine itself. Follow these steps to locate it:

• Upon entering the area, proceed straight to the fork in the road.

• Take a right turn into the alley, marked with an arrow (as shown in the screenshot).

• After a short walk, you’ll discover a chest containing the first Data Strip.

Location of the Second Data Strip

The second Data Strip is nestled on Cerulean Island within the Cerulean Reservoir. Follow these instructions to uncover it:

• Enter the Cerulean Reservoir and ascend the stairs.

• You’ll encounter a pond; dive in and swim to the far end.

• In the upper-left corner of the pond, you’ll find a chest containing the second Data Strip.

Location of the Third Data Strip

The third Data Strip is situated at the Speedball Network Station. Here’s how to obtain it:

• Upon reaching the location, proceed straight until you reach a wall.

• Take a left turn to locate a chest containing the third Data Strip.

Location of the Fourth Data Strip

The fourth Data Strip poses a greater challenge as it’s hidden within the Fleshmancer’s Lair. To obtain it, you must venture through the dungeon and solve its intricate puzzle. Follow these steps to secure the final Data Strip:

Activate the Pedestal

• Upon entering the dungeon, head straight while staying close to the left wall.

• You’ll encounter a pedestal; interact with it.

• This action will summon several enemies. Defeat them to proceed.

Red Pillar

• One of the summoned objects is a red pillar.

• Move it to the right side of the dungeon onto a designated platform.

• To do so, approach the pillar and push it in the right direction.

• This movement will trigger the appearance of more enemies.

Pressure Plate

• Activate the pressure plate located nearby.

Red Pillar with Green Crystal

• Ascend to the next level, located on the right eye of a giant creature.

• Use your climbing hook to scale the ladder.

• Drop the red pillar with the green crystal down and place it on the corresponding green platform.

• Proceed to the left side of the dungeon, climb the ladder, and locate another pillar.

• Place this pillar on the green platform as well.

Enter the Jaws

• When the creature’s mouth opens, move inside.

• Engage and defeat the enemies that await.

Red Eyes

• After defeating the enemies, you’ll encounter a large red eye.

• Push it onto the round red pressure plate.

• Once the eye is on the pressure plate, you’ll gain access to the next eye, which should be placed on the green pressure plate.

• Move the first eye to the last purple pressure plate.

• Next to the last purple pressure plate, you’ll find a chest containing the fourth Data Strip.
