EA FC 24 Faces ‘Drop-in Not Working Error’ – Players Seek Solutions

EA Sports’ latest football game, EA FC 24, has encountered a frustrating ‘drop-in not working error,’ primarily affecting the Pro-Clubs online game mode. Players have reported various manifestations of this issue, including an inability to join online matches, sudden disconnections while loading drop-in matches, lengthy loading times when seeking drop-in games, and error pop-ups.

EA Sports has acknowledged the problem on its investigation Trello board but hasn’t provided a permanent fix yet. However, players have come up with potential solutions. One suggestion involves using a non-customized or stock character instead of a modified one when searching for online matches, as teams with customized characters seem more prone to crashes.

Another player recommended joining a random club before using drop-in as a temporary workaround. Other solutions include restarting the device, disabling cross-play, playing single-player modes or couch co-op, trying to connect during low server activity times, and even uninstalling and reinstalling EA FC 24.

While these solutions may work for some players, others may need to wait for an official bug fix or update from EA Sports. In the meantime, players can try these methods to mitigate the ‘drop-in’ error and improve their gaming experience.
