Warner Bros. Interactive has announced a delay in the release of Batman: Arkham Trilogy for Nintendo Switch. Initially set to launch on October 13th, the collection’s new release date is December 1st. The official statement mentions the need for more time to ensure the best possible experience for Nintendo Switch players, apologizing to fans for the delay and thanking them for their patience.

The Batman: Arkham Trilogy delay comes as a disappointment for many Nintendo Switch owners who were eagerly anticipating the collection. This trilogy includes the highly acclaimed and top-selling Batman: Arkham games developed by Rocksteady. The collection encompasses Batman: Arkham Asylum (2009), Batman: Arkham City (2011), and Batman: Arkham Knight (2015). However, it’s important to note that it does not include Batman: Arkham Origins (2013), a prequel game developed by Warner Bros. Montréal. Nevertheless, to sweeten the deal, all the respective DLCs for the included games will be part of the package.
For fans of Batman: Arkham Asylum, the collection offers the Insane Night and Prey in the Darkness packs, adding combat and stealth challenge maps. Those diving into Batman: Arkham City can enjoy the Catwoman, Nightwing, Robin, Challenge Map, and Arkham City skins packs, along with the story-based Harley Quinn’s Revenge expansion. As for Batman: Arkham Knight, it includes The Season of Infamy missions and various Batman: Arkham episodes, such as A Matter of Family (Batgirl), GCPD Lockdown (Nightwing), A Flip of a Coin (Robin), Catwoman’s Revenge, and the Harley Quinn and Red Hood story packs.
Overall, Batman: Arkham Trilogy for Nintendo Switch, developed by Turn Me Up Games, provides nearly 80 hours of gameplay when considering both main missions and side content.
While the delay is unfortunate, fans of the Batman: Arkham universe games still have something to look forward to. They are eagerly anticipating the upcoming game, Suicide: Kill the Justice League, developed by Rocksteady and scheduled for release on February 2, 2024, unless further delays occur. More details about the game may emerge in the coming months, keeping fans engaged and excited.
