Imagine an insatiable hunger that can only be quelled by consuming the souls of your mortal enemies—those who betrayed you, your family, and even your cows. This intriguing premise forms the foundation of “Berserk of Gluttony,” a new Crunchyroll anime that recently made its debut on the platform.
For many, this story may not be familiar, and that’s understandable since the light novel was only published in 2020. Considering the tumultuous events that marked the beginning of that decade, it might have flown under the radar. However, shortly after the light novel’s release, the manga adaptation, published by Micro Magazine, also emerged. Currently, there are five volumes of the manga available. Yet, the real turning point for the series is the much-anticipated anime adaptation that has just been unleashed. Read on to discover where you can watch it, whether subbed or dubbed!
Where to Watch “Berserk of Gluttony” Anime?
“Berserk of Gluttony” anime, animated by A.C.G.T. and available through Crunchyroll, made its debut on October 1, just in time for the eerie atmosphere of Fall. The series is set in a unique world where everyone possesses a distinctive ability, adding to its intrigue. The first episode came with subtitles for viewers to enjoy, but there’s a bit of uncertainty for those hoping for a dubbed version in the future.
As of now, the series did not premiere with a dub feature, and Crunchyroll has not yet confirmed whether it will receive a dub. However, there’s a good chance that it might. It’s important to remember that patience is key in the world of anime, and it took several years for “One Piece” fans to get an official dub. So, while we wait for confirmation, it’s worth keeping in mind that if a dub is greenlit, it might take 2-3 weeks after the series premiere for it to be available.
In the meantime, the second episode is set to air on October 8, so fans won’t have to wait long for more. If you’re too eager to wait for both the anime and the dub, you can also delve into the manga, which is available in English through Seven Seas. Alternatively, the light novel is also accessible on the same platform for those who prefer that format.
