Cameron Monaghan, known for his role as Cal Kestis, shares exciting news about the development of Star Wars Jedi 3 during Ocala Comic Con panel.

Cameron Monaghan, the actor renowned for portraying Cal Kestis in the Star Wars Jedi game series, has officially confirmed the development of Star Wars Jedi 3. Monaghan shared this exciting revelation during a panel at the Ocala Comic Con, where he stated, “We’re working on a third and we’re in the process of doing that right now.”
Monaghan went on to elaborate, saying, “That’s been a big undertaking and there have been some conversations so far, but hopefully when all things and said and done we’ll be able to go in and make something really cool.”
While the video footage of the Comic-Con panel was uploaded by YouTube user Saix_XIII last week, it has only recently started gaining widespread attention. You can watch the video segment where Monaghan discusses Star Wars Jedi 3 below:
This surprising announcement comes just one week after the departure of Stig Asmussen, the director of the Star Wars Jedi series, from Respawn Entertainment.
EA issued a statement regarding Asmussen’s departure, stating, “After careful thought and consideration, Stig Asmussen has decided to leave Respawn to pursue other adventures, and we wish him the best of luck. Veteran Respawn leaders will be stepping up to guide the team as they continue their work on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.”

In addition to Monaghan’s comments about Star Wars Jedi 3, a job listing earlier this year further substantiated that Respawn Entertainment had initiated the development of a third Star Wars Jedi installment.
