Nintendo Switch Owners Will Miss Out on the Upcoming RoboCop Game

Last year, publisher Nacon announced RoboCop: Rogue City, a first-person shooter set in the beloved cyberpunk universe, with the iconic actor Peter Weller returning to voice the titular character.
However, as the game’s release date of November 2nd, 2023 approaches for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, it seems that the Nintendo Switch version has been discreetly canceled.
An exchange on Facebook with the official RoboCop: Rogue City page, discovered thanks to a tip from Lord Conrad’s Brewery, confirmed that the Nintendo Switch version is no longer in development.

The specific reasons behind the cancellation remain undisclosed. It is unclear whether the Polish developer Teyon has abandoned the idea of releasing the game on Nintendo’s platform entirely or if they are awaiting the release of the anticipated Switch successor. Only time will reveal the true cause.
In any case, players looking forward to RoboCop: Rogue City next month will need to choose from alternative platforms.
