While Lords of the Fallen predominantly follows a linear path with most bosses located along predetermined routes, some, like the Abiding Defenders Duo, are hidden away off the main track and present completely optional challenges.

In the Manse of the Hallow Brothers level, just before your descent towards a towering structure where you must activate a beacon, you’ll find an opportunity to engage in an optional battle with Abiding Defender Lirenne and Abiding Defender Kyra.

How to Defeat Abiding Defender Lirenne and Abiding Defender Kyra:

1. Set Up a Seedling Camp: Before entering the arena, consider establishing a seedling camp nearby. This can save you the trouble of retracing your steps from the closest vestige if you happen to fall in battle.

2. Focus on Two Bosses: Although you’ll see more than just the two bosses, the others are mere spectators and won’t join the battle. Prioritize your efforts on the two main adversaries, Lirenne and Kyra.

3. Dodge and Move: The bosses employ attacks that are relatively easy to dodge. By timing your dodges correctly and maneuvering around the arena to avoid their light swords, you can keep yourself safe.

4. Simultaneous Depletion: The key strategy in this fight is to wear down the bosses’ health bars simultaneously. If you focus on defeating one of them and manage to do so, the other will resurrect. The optimal approach is to damage one boss until her health bar is nearly empty, then shift your attention to the other.
