Hayao Miyazaki, a prominent figure in the film industry, is set to release his latest film, “The Boy and the Heron” (How Do You Live?), in American theaters on December 8.
GKIDS, the distributor known for picking up Ghibli movies for home release, has acquired the rights to distribute the anime film. Notably, GKIDS annually hosts Ghibli Fest, where beloved classics like “Spirited Away,” “Howl’s Moving Castle,” and “Whispers of the Heart” make brief returns to theaters.
