Some Overwatch 2 players question Pharah as Inarius and propose Sigma as a better fit for the skin.

Certain Overwatch 2 players are contemplating whether Sigma would have been a more fitting choice for the Inarius skin instead of Pharah. With the commencement of a new season in Overwatch 2 this month, the hero shooter introduced another significant collaboration.
The game recently launched the Halloween Terror 2023 event, featuring a PvE mode inspired by Diablo 4 called “Trials of Sanctuary.” In this 4v4 mode, players select from six Sanctuary-themed heroes to confront the dark legions. Alongside this PvE mode, Overwatch 2 introduced Diablo 4 skins that transformed Moira into Lilith, Pharah into Inarius, Reinhardt into Imperius, and Wrecking Ball into Azmodan. While these skins received acclaim for their design, a segment of Overwatch 2 players opine that Sigma might have been a more appropriate choice for the Inarius skin.
A Reddit user, blissfuldick,
Expressed their viewpoint that Sigma would have made a more suitable Inarius than Pharah. Although they did not have a grievance against the skin, they felt it would have been more intriguing for Sigma to don the Inarius persona. The suggestion emerged because Sigma and Inarius share a comparable stature and an element of mystery. Sigma, a character from Overwatch 2, is an astrophysicist who gained gravity-controlling powers after a scientific experiment went awry. Inarius, a notable character from the Diablo franchise, played a pivotal role in the creation of Sanctuary and the Nephalem race due to his association with Lilith.
Reddit commenters lent their support to the idea and lamented that the Inarius skin was not granted to Sigma. Many expressed enthusiasm at the prospect of Sigma assuming the role of Inarius, particularly with the visual spectacle of Sigma spreading his wings during his ultimate ability.
The Diablo 4 skins have attracted attention not only for their appearance but also because they are solely accessible through a themed bundle priced at $39.99, a decision that sparked frustration among Overwatch 2 players. Despite these concerns, Blizzard has not announced whether players can individually purchase the skins, contributing to a list of unpopular decisions surrounding Overwatch 2.
Overwatch 2 is currently accessible on various platforms, including PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
