Due to Starfield’s procedurally generated universe, there’s no fixed method to locate adhesive-rich planets. Instead, players should analyze flora density on their ship scanner before landing. If a planet lacks plants, it’s best to search elsewhere. In-depth analysis of plants reveals the materials they yield and the environments they thrive in, aiding players in their future exploration.
A more reliable method involves purchasing adhesives from vendors, with merchant inventories resetting over time. Stock up on adhesives from vendors like Outland in New Atlantis, then rest or sleep for 24 local hours to trigger the reset.
Occasionally, adhesive packs can be looted from dead human enemies, often found on legendary foes. Ship battles offer another opportunity; dock with the last enemy vessel and search their storage containers and cargo holds for extra resources.
While adhesives may appear in storage chests, this source is relatively rare. Nonetheless, players stand a chance of acquiring adhesives when looting random containers, alongside valuable loot like weaponry, armor, ammunition, and crafting materials.
