Players trying to connect online will be met with an error prompt stating, “This online service has ended. Thank you for your interest.” While the online gameplay has concluded, players who have purchased additional modes can still enjoy PAC-MAN 99 in an offline capacity.

Bandai Namco has also discontinued the distribution of the main game and halted the availability of paid custom content and modes. However, players who have acquired additional content can continue to access and enjoy it even after the online service has ended.
