Here, a True Soul named Nere is trapped behind rubble in the caves. Should the player free Nere and align with him, Greymon becomes a combatant on the opposing side. However, it’s important to note that Nere’s true nature is not that of a virtuous character, demonstrated by his ruthless murder of a gnome slave upon release. Thus, allying with him may not align with the player’s pursuit of a morally upright playthrough.

Thankfully, there are alternative methods to obtain the Bow of the Banshee. Players must decide between looting Greymon’s lifeless form or buying the rare Bow of the Banshee directly from him.
