Today, Lies of P stands as one of the premier titles in the Soulslike genre, alongside well-known games like Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Remnant: From the Ashes, and the recent release Lords of the Fallen.

In an extensive eight-minute video, Director Ji Won Choi delved into Lies of P’s future,

Unveiling tantalizing tidbits about the game’s first DLC and offering insights into an upcoming patch. In addition to the much-anticipated Lies of P DLC, its release date still shrouded in mystery, Choi shed light on the November patch. This update will introduce weapon balance improvements to enhance the Weapon Assemble system, granting players more creative freedom in crafting customized weaponry. Furthermore, the November patch aims to alleviate the game’s early-stage difficulty by bestowing Pinocchio with the Rising Dodge ability as a default skill, eliminating the need to unlock it through the skill tree.

Choi also mentioned Neowiz’s ongoing recruitment efforts, as the studio seeks to expand its team for the continued development of the Lies of P universe, hinting at more exciting content in the pipeline. Additionally, Neowiz unveiled a crossover between Lies of P and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, introducing the Puppet’s Saber and the Etiquette to Team Ninja’s action RPG. The studio plans to release a soundtrack collection comprising over 60 tracks from Lies of P, providing players with a musical backdrop as they eagerly await further details on the game’s upcoming DLC.
