World of Warcraft Unveils Normal Flying Access in Dragonflight Zones Through Patch 10.2’s Pathfinder Achievement

World of Warcraft’s Patch 10.2, Guardians of the Dream, marks a notable update, reintroducing traditional flying to Dragonflight’s Dragon Isles. This restoration comes through the new Dragon Isles Pathfinder achievement, offering players the ability to use conventional flying mounts within these zones. Unlike past achievements required for flying, the Dragon Isles Pathfinder involves completing the main storylines across the four Dragonflight zones and Zaralek Cavern in Embers of Neltharion, exploring all Dragonflight zones, and reaching Renown rank 15 with all six Dragonflight factions, including the Dream Wardens from Guardians of the Dream.

While Dragonriding offers an exhilarating flight experience, enabling regular flying serves various purposes. It allows for more precise movements, freedom in exploration, and benefits players who might find Dragonriding challenging due to physical disabilities. Moreover, this addition extends accessibility options within the game. Simultaneously, the introduction of Dragonriding outside the Dragon Isles is anticipated, as WoW plans to extend the dynamic flight feature to various flying mounts, intending to incorporate it universally before the end of the Dragonflight expansion.
