Blending elements of 4X and real-time strategy games, Dune: Spice Wars by Shiro Games and Funcom is set to launch on the Xbox Series X|S on November 28.

During its Early Access period over the past year, Dune: Spice Wars has undergone six significant updates. These updates introduced new playable factions, features, balancing, quality-of-life improvements, and addressed community feedback.

Inspired by Frank Herbert’s Dune, the game includes well-known characters such as Duke Leto Atreides, Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, Padishah Emperor Shaddam IV, Esmar Tuek, and Liet Kynes.

Players will engage in real-time 4X gameplay, strategically managing open warfare, subterfuge, political influence, and economic dominance on the desert planet Arrakis.

Choosing from six iconic factions, including Atreides, Harkonnen, or Fremen, players can participate in 2v2 matches or engage in a free-for-all with up to four players in Dune: Spice Wars.

The title is also accessible on Steam for $34.99, offering an immersive gaming experience in the rich universe of Dune.
