Anthony Starr Clarifies He Won’t Be Voicing Homelander in NetherRealm’s Latest Release
While Mortal Kombat 1 successfully secured the original voice actor for Omni-Man in its first DLC fighter release, the same can’t be said for ‘The Boys’ character Homelander.
In response to a fan’s inquiry on social media about voicing the character in the game, New Zealand actor Anthony Starr promptly quashed any expectations with a succinct “nope.” This straightforward response has surprised some fans, especially considering Warner Bros. and NetherRealm’s recent success in securing J.K. Simmons for the voice of Omni-Man.
When Homelander joins the Mortal Kombat 1 roster next year, players will have the option to acquire him through a standalone purchase or as part of the Kombat Pack. Omni-Man was released last week, available for those who have purchased the DLC or the pack.
