Navigate the deadly realms with ease—learn the ins and outs of fast travel in Remnant 2 to save time and enhance your exploration.

Embark on an intergalactic journey in Remnant 2, a gripping third-person shooting RPG that spans diverse alien worlds. Amidst the myriad challenges and environments, players can optimize their experience using the fast travel mechanic—a convenient way to swiftly teleport to any destination on the expansive World Map.

How to Fast Travel in Remnant 2:

Efficient travel in Remnant 2 relies on activating checkpoints, known as World Stones or World Shards. These strategic markers not only serve as healing points but also enable players to seamlessly traverse the game’s extensive landscapes. Unlocking the secrets of fast travel involves understanding these two types of checkpoints.

World Stone: Identified by its large, fiery, glowing crystal, the World Stone typically resides outside or at the entrance of dungeons. Activating a World Stone opens up multiple possibilities, including quick travel between worlds, returning to the central hub—Ward 13—and even joining multiplayer games.

  1. Activation: Approach a World Stone and interact with it to activate the checkpoint.
  2. Usage: Once activated, players gain access to the region maps of all unlocked worlds. Selecting a desired area on the World Map facilitates rapid travel, regardless of the player’s current location.
  3. Exploration: New areas and worlds discovered during gameplay automatically become accessible checkpoints on the World Stone.

World Shard: A more compact counterpart, the World Shard is a smaller fragment of the World Stone scattered throughout dungeons. While limited in options, World Shards offer the convenience of fast traveling to Ward 13 or exiting the dungeon.

  1. Map Guidance: Uncertain about checkpoint locations? Refer to the map, where both World Stones and World Shards are highlighted.

Fast traveling is contingent on activating at least two checkpoints, unlocking the game’s potential for seamless exploration. Whether revisiting merchants for supplies or swiftly navigating to familiar locations, mastering fast travel in Remnant 2 enhances efficiency and enjoyment.

Remnant 2 is available on various platforms, including PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
