This guide breaks down the process of obtaining these rings, ensuring players are well-equipped to face the challenges ahead. While not overly complicated, the journey requires time and effort to gather resources and confront the formidable boss guarding these coveted rings.

How to Acquire Malignant Rings in Diablo 4:

There are five distinct Malignant Rings, each designated for a specific class in Diablo 4:

1. Barbarian – Ring of Red Fury
2. Sorcerer – Tal Rasha’s Iridescent Loop
3. Druid – Airidah’s Inexorable Will
4. Rogue – Writhing Band of Trickery
5. Necromancer – Ring of the Sacrilegious Soul

To obtain these rings, players must face the formidable boss Varshan, a familiar adversary from previous seasons. The encounter takes place in World Tier 4, demanding adequate preparation. Locate the Malignant Burrow in the eastern part of the map, near the Tree of Whispers waypoint, to initiate the encounter.

Steps to Summon Varshan:

1. Collect Body Parts:
   • Blackened Femur
   • Gurgling Head
   • Malignant Heart
   • Trembling Hand
2. Participate in Whispers of the Dead:
   • Open reward caches or defeat Grotesque Debtors encountered after world boss battles or during Blood Harvest.
3. Exchange Body Parts (if needed):
   • Visit the Alchemist to trade surplus body parts with the following offerings:
     • Gurgling Head: Malignant Heart, Abtruse Sigils x4, Veiled Crystals x15
     • Trembling Hand: Malignant Heart, Baleful Fragments x4, Veiled Crystals x15
     • Blackened Femur: Malignant Heart, Coiling Wars x4, Veiled Crystals x15
4. Summon Varshan:
   • Utilize the collected body parts on the Malignant Altar to summon Varshan.
5. Confront Varshan:
   • Engage in battle with Varshan and defeat the boss.

Upon successfully defeating Varshan, players will be rewarded with various items, including one of the Malignant Rings if luck is on their side.
