- Investigating Koval’s Journal: Begin the search by closely examining the scattered journal pages on Koval’s lap and transporting his body to the landing site. Koval was the last crewmate in contact with Dr. Gorsky.
- Heading Northwest: Move northwest from the landing ship and traverse the path beyond the arches. Spot a field flag in the distance planted by Dr. Gorsky and use Yasna’s tracker to follow the signal.
- Probe Discovery: The tracker leads to a Probe left by Yasna’s crew. Activate the Teleprobe, inspect its slide records, and report findings to Novik. Boot the probe and give it a personalized name.
- Probe’s Guidance – Five Points:
- Point 1: Follow the metal vein underground, identified by Yasna’s metal detector.
- Point 2: Reach a metallic structure emerging from the ground.
- Point 3: Continue following the metal vein through a pond with more structures underwater.
- Point 4: Track footprints and climb a ledge to locate a flag planted by Dr. Gorsky.
- Point 5: Use telescopes to spot black bushes, and follow the probe’s route to reach them.
- Entering the Cave: Explore the cave, find Dr. Gorsky’s climbing rope, and descend the ledge using the rope. Choose to use the probe to reduce falling distance.
- The City: Discover a city made of metal structures. Navigate the metal bridges, avoiding fragile sections, and reach the field flag with Dr. Gorsky’s belongings.

- Final Discovery: Reach a gap in the rocky wall to find Dr. Gorsky’s signal on Yasna’s tracker. Follow the white dots to locate Dr. Gorsky’s backpack and proceed to find him lying unconscious under metal rubble.
