Traditionally, each expansion or new content release in WoW Classic introduces an array of fresh servers, and this season is no exception, with a unique twist to server naming conventions across different regions.

In the Season of Discovery, Blizzard has opted for an innovative approach by employing identical server names and types in both North American and European regions. Additionally, two dedicated servers are introduced in Australia, catering to the OCE player base. • PvE: Engages in open-world PvP upon manual toggling.
  • PvP: Enables cross-faction combat throughout the open world.
  • RP PvE/PvP: Offers a platform for roleplaying, where RP PvP servers often simulate faction warfare fantasies.

Australian Realms (Australia/OCE):

Note: Australian servers are aligned with the North American servers in the Season of Discovery realm list, labeled with (AU) at the end of each name.

  • Penance (AU): PvE server.
  • Shadowstrike (AU): PvP server.

This alignment of realms with similar names across regions might create some confusion, so it’s advisable to verify the referenced region in official Blizzard communications or WoW forums to ensure accurate information about specific servers.
