The Dangers in My Heart Season 2 Unveils Theme Song Artists

The theme song artists for the upcoming second season of the television anime adaptation of Norio Sakurai’s manga, “The Dangers in My Heart” (Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu), have been unveiled on the official website.

Theme Songs:

  • Opening Theme: Atarayo, the band, will perform “Boku wa…” (I Am…)
  • Ending Theme: Kohana Lam takes the stage with “Koi Shiteru Jibun Sura Aiserunda” (I Can Even Love My Loving Self).

They have scheduled the debut of the second season in January as part of the NUMAnimation programming block on TV Asahi and its 23 affiliates, along with BS Asahi. Returning for this season are the familiar faces of the cast and staff from the initial installment.

Manga and Spinoff Adaptation:

  • They have slated both the original manga and its Twi-Yaba spinoff to receive anime adaptations.

The first season originally aired on TV Asahi and affiliates within the “NUMAnimation” programming block starting April 1, with concurrent streaming on HIDIVE.

Release Details:

  • Premiere Date: January (specific date pending)
  • Broadcast: NUMAnimation on TV Asahi and affiliates, as well as BS Asahi.

About “The Dangers in My Heart” Manga:

  • The manga chronicles the life of Ichikawa Kyotaro, a boy who envisions himself as the tormented lead in a psychological thriller. Juggling school life challenges and harboring feelings for Anna Yamada, the class idol, forms the essence of the storyline. Seven Seas Entertainment holds the manga license.

Norio Sakurai commenced the manga in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine in March 2018. It later moved to Champion Cross and then to the Manga Cross website. The ninth volume was released on November 8, and Seven Seas Entertainment published the seventh volume on October 3.
