Learn all about Overwatch 2’s debut of a cosmetic event pass in the Winter Wonderland and what it offers to players this holiday season.

Overwatch 2 continues to innovate its seasonal events, introducing captivating experiences like Wrath of the Bride in Halloween Terror and Battle for Olympus in place of the Archives event. The upcoming Winter Wonderland event, commencing on December 19, won’t present new brawls but will revive past favorites like Freeze-Flash Elimination and Mei’s Snowball Offensive. However, this year’s Winter Wonderland brings a groundbreaking addition: the Winter Fair event pass, marking the franchise’s first foray into this concept.
Despite the absence of new brawls, Winter Wonderland’s introduction of the Winter Fair event pass is set to captivate Overwatch 2 enthusiasts. Featuring both a free and premium track, the event pass will unlock a treasure trove of holiday-themed cosmetics for players to pursue during the festive season.
Event passes are a common feature in other live-service games like Destiny 2, with Overwatch 2’s Winter Fair sporting a notably low $5 price tag for the premium track, as opposed to Destiny 2’s $10.
