Team FOLON unveils the launch date for the highly anticipated Fallout 4 mod set in a post-apocalyptic rendition of London.

The much-anticipated Fallout: London, a total conversion mod for Fall-out 4, now has an official release date set for April 23, 2024. Gamers are thrilled by the announcement, as the mod offers a detailed post-apocalyptic world set in London.
Initially introduced by Team FOLON in 2021, Fallout: London has drawn considerable attention for its immersive world-building and innovative storyline. In 2237, this mod fills the gap between the first two Fall-out games, envisioning post-nuclear London’s aftermath.
In their launch trailer, Team FOLON revealed eerie post-apocalyptic versions of iconic London landmarks like Big Ben. While the mod is currently “content-complete,” the creators decided to postpone the release to ensure an extensive testing phase, influenced by the diverse backgrounds of their international development team, some of whom have experienced conflicts firsthand.
Fallout: London Release Date:
- Release Date: April 23, 2024.
The mod aims to shift from the American setting, exploring new cultures and delving into pre-war European history. In Fallout: London, new factions like the Fifth Column, Camelot, Tommies, and London’s Gentry reshape the lore.
Described as DLC-sized by its creators, Fallout: London promises hours of gameplay. While the primary narrative might not match the length of Bethesda’s games, the mod boasts a substantial landmass akin to the expansiveness seen in Fallout 4’s expansions. For example, Far Harbor DLC in Fallout 4 showcases a 30-minute traverse, hinting at Fallout: London’s expanse.
The mod’s release aligns closely with Amazon Studios’ Fallout TV show, set to debut by April 12, 2024, just two weeks before the mod’s launch. Set in 2296 in the United States, the TV series premiere is expected to revive interest in Fallout 4.
The mod’s release alongside the TV series launch anticipates a renewed buzz, expanding Fallout’s horizons for players.
