Kingdom Season 5 Episode 1 Faces Delay as Earthquake Coverage Takes Precedence

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the eagerly anticipated premiere of the first episode of Kingdom Season 5 faced a delay. Originally slated for January 6, 2024, the setback was linked to NHK’s coverage of the earthquake at Ishikawa Prefecture’s Noto Peninsula on January 1.

Consequently, the rescheduled Kingdom Season 5 Episode 1 air date is now fixed for January 13 at 24:15 Japan Time, equivalent to January 14 at 12:15 am JST.

For fans anxiously awaiting the new season, a November-released trailer provides a sneak peek into what lies ahead.

Yasuhisa Hara’s Kingdom manga is currently serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine. Moreover, all four seasons of the anime are readily available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
