Dokkaebi Unleashed: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Introduces a New Warlord in Latest Update

Get ready for a fresh challenge as Call of Duty: MW3 unveils Dokkaebi, a formidable Warlord, in the Season 1 Reloaded update for Zombies mode

An exciting twist awaits Call of Duty enthusiasts in MW3 Zombies mode as a new Warlord, Dokkaebi, will debut on January 17. Included in the extensive Season 1 Reloaded update, it vows to introduce a wave of fresh content across game modes.

Despite imperfections, Modern Warfare 3 Zombies captivates players with open ended gameplay, diverse missions, contracts, and tasks. At launch, the mode introduced the Legacy Warlord, a powerful adversary tucked away inside the Legacy Fortress on the Zombies map. Players had to navigate through challenges to confront the Warlord, unlocking high-tier rewards and completing story missions. The upcoming Warlord, Dokkaebi, seems to follow a similar blueprint.

Come January 17, players will find Dokkaebi reigning at the summit of a skyscraper in Zaravan City. Her fortress is heavily guarded by automated defenses such as turrets, drones, and a menacing Wheelson. Players will encounter the formidable challenge of defeating Dokkaebi, a highly skilled South Korean soldier aligned with Terminus Outcomes. Similar to her predecessor, players will earn top-tier loot upon successfully defeating Dokkaebi.

Dokkaebi, the Elite Soldier:

  • Specializes in using automated defenses and evasion tactics
  • Represents the nefarious Terminus Outcomes faction within Modern Warfare 3 Zombies

The question remains whether solo players can realistically challenge Dokkaebi or if a squad is a necessity. Concerns have arisen regarding the game potentially favoring squads over solo players, echoing sentiments from the community. Solo players may need to strategize, possibly employing assets like a loyal pet dog or donning a juggernaut suit, similar to the tactics required for the Legacy Warlord.

In addition to Dokkaebi, Modern Warfare 3 Zombies boasts other formidable bosses, such as the Red Worm, offering high-tier loot in exchange for a successful takedown. Despite some critiques of the Urzikstan map, it’s essential to acknowledge the significant evolution of Zombies mode.

One user even created a visual comparison, juxtaposing the size of Black Ops 2’s TranZit Zombies map with Modern Warfare 3’s Urzikstan, revealing a substantial difference. The once massive scale in TranZit is dwarfed by the expansive Urzikstan landscape, highlighting Zombies’ impressive evolution.
