This update on the game’s commercial performance comes less than three weeks after the highly successful release of Helldivers 2.
The senior official, Arrowhead CEO Johan Pilestedt, indirectly confirmed the impressive sales figures by responding to a fan’s speculation that Helldivers 2 had sold “almost 3 million” copies. Pilestedt’s response, conveyed through emojis, adds weight to the speculation. As of February 25, just 17 days since the game’s launch, Helldivers 2 has been averaging approximately 1 million sales per week.
Helldivers 2 has quickly made a significant impact on the gaming community, achieving remarkable sales milestones shortly after its release.
