With the latest revelation, it’s evident that Baldur’s Gate 3 has surpassed a remarkable milestone, boasting a player base well exceeding 10 million.
Since its full release in August, Baldur’s Gate 3 has consistently dominated charts, captivating audiences worldwide. Despite the lack of precise figures across all platforms, Douse’s recent confirmation offers the clearest indication yet of the game’s immense popularity, with a staggering player count exceeding 10 million.
In a series of tweets addressing negative interactions with a subset of the community, Douse casually disclosed: “This is a game that went from ~2 million players to way over 10 million in a very short space of time.”
While various metrics provide insights into Baldur’s Gate 3’s success, they offer only a partial view. Steam’s data reveals impressive peak concurrent player counts, with Baldur’s Gate 3 ranking among the platform’s top 10 most-played games ever, peaking at 875,000.
