Maria Mazur, a quest designer for Cyberpunk 2077, recently shared insights into the plethora of undiscovered Easter eggs hidden within Night City and hinted at similar secrets possibly lying within The Witcher 3.
Speaking to GamesRadar+ at the Digital Dragons conference in Poland, Mazur expressed her excitement about the numerous Easter eggs still waiting to be uncovered in Cyberpunk 2077. She mentioned that despite the game’s extensive exploration by players, there are many surprises yet to be found. Mazur recounted one particular discovery where a player drove the main character into the ocean, revealing a meticulously crafted scenario she had designed.
Reflecting on these moments, Mazur emphasized the joy of anticipating player actions and leaving behind hidden surprises, even years after the game’s release. She believes that there are countless more such moments waiting to be found across CD Projekt Red’s titles, considering the collective effort of all the designers involved.
While Mazur’s focus remains on Cyberpunk 2077, she hinted at the likelihood of numerous undiscovered Easter eggs in The Witcher 3 as well. Although not her area of expertise, Mazur suggested that the vast world of The Witcher series likely holds many secrets yet to be unveiled.
Despite the ongoing exploration of existing titles, Mazur also mentioned her involvement in Project Hadar, CD Projekt Red’s new IP, hinting at the potential for more surprises in future projects from the studio.
