Minecraft: How to Craft the New Crafter Block in the 1.21 Update

Crafting is a core element of Mojang Studios’ Minecraft, allowing players to create everything from basic tools to advanced equipment. With the new 1.21 Tricky Trials update, a new block called the Crafter has been introduced, simplifying the crafting process. This guide will walk you through how to craft and use the Crafter block in Minecraft.

How to Craft the Crafter Block in Minecraft

To craft the Crafter, you’ll need to gather the following materials:

  • 2 x Redstone Dust
  • 5 x Iron Ingots
  • 1 x Dropper
  • 1 x Crafting Table

Step 1: Collect Redstone Dust

Redstone Dust is an essential material used in many crafting recipes, including the Crafter. You can obtain Redstone Dust by mining Redstone Ore, commonly found in areas like Woodland and Jungle Pyramids. Each Redstone Ore block yields around three to four Redstone Dust.

Pro Tip: Remember, you’ll need a pickaxe to mine Redstone Ore, so make sure you have one on hand before you start.

Step 2: Gather Iron Ingots

Iron Ingots are another crucial component for crafting the Crafter. To obtain them, mine Iron Ore using a stone pickaxe, which can be crafted using three cobblestones and two sticks. Once you’ve collected Iron Ore, smelt it in a furnace to produce Iron Ingots.

Step 3: Craft a Dropper

The Dropper is a useful block that helps players move items more efficiently. To craft a Dropper, you’ll need six Cobblestones and one Redstone Dust. Combine these materials at a Crafting Table to create the Dropper.

Step 4: Make a Crafting Table

Before you can craft the Crafter, you’ll need a basic Crafting Table, which is the foundation of the Crafter block. If you don’t already have one, you can create it using four Wooden Planks. These planks can be obtained by chopping down trees.

Step 5: Assemble the Crafter Block

With all your materials ready, open the crafting menu and arrange the items in the following pattern:

  • Top Row: Place three Iron Ingots.
  • Middle Row: Place one Iron Ingot on the left, one Crafting Table in the center, and another Iron Ingot on the right.
  • Bottom Row: Place one Redstone Dust on the left, one Dropper in the center, and another Redstone Dust on the right.

Following this pattern will yield the Crafter block, a more advanced version of the Crafting Table, making crafting in Minecraft more efficient and streamlined.

By following these steps, you’ll have your Crafter block ready to enhance your Minecraft experience!
