Pokémon GO has announced the debut of Hatenna, its evolutions, and Dynamax Beldum in the upcoming Psychic Spectacular event. Held annually since 2018, this event celebrates Psychic-type Pokémon, which have previously introduced creatures like Shiny Drowzee, Gothita, Solosis, and Inkay. Psychic-types are strong against Dragon- and Fairy-type Pokémon, making them valuable additions to any player’s roster. Over the years, Pokémon like Mewtwo, Hoopa, and Lunala have joined the game, and this year, the list expands further.
Event Details and Pokémon Debuts
The Psychic Spectacular event will run from September 18 at 10 am to September 22 at 8 pm local time. During the event, Hatenna will appear in the wild, in 7 km egg hatches, and as a reward for themed research tasks. Players can evolve Hatenna into Hattrem with 23 Candy, and into Hatterene with 100 Candy. Dynamax Beldum will make its debut in three-star Max Battles, with the chance for lucky players to find a shiny version.
Featured Wild Encounters and Rewards
The event will feature wild encounters with Psychic-types like Ralts, Spoink, Gothita, Solosis, Elgyem, Spritzee, Swirlix, Inkay, Morelull, and Hatenna. Pokémon like Espurr and Mawile will be available in 7 km eggs, while field research tasks will offer encounters with Pokémon such as Morelull, Hatenna, and others. A paid timed research for $2 USD will reward players with encounters, including Hatenna, and 15,000 XP. Additionally, players can earn double Stardust for catches and extra Candy for Nice Throws or better.
Part of the Max Out Season
This event is part of the broader Max Out season, with Dynamax forms debuting at the GO Out event from September 10-15, and more Galar Pokémon introduced throughout the month.
