Wuthering Waves has announced the release of Version 1.3, set to go live on September 29. The news was shared by Kuro Games during an official broadcast on September 20, showcasing the upcoming features and updates for the action RPG. This follows the release of Version 1.2, titled “In the Turquoise Moonglow,” which introduced new five-star characters Zhezhi and Xiangli Yao, along with their signature weapons and several new events.

The upcoming Version 1.3 will bring significant additions to the game, including two new characters: The Shorekeeper, a five-star Spectro Rectifier capable of transforming into a butterfly, and Youhu, a four-star Glacio Gauntlet Resonator with a versatile moveset. The update will also introduce The Shorekeeper’s weapon, Stellar Symphony, and the Deep Sky Blazer.

Players will have the opportunity to explore a new region, the Black Shores archipelago, unveiling new stories and mysteries. The update also adds a new Echo, Fallacy of No Return, which uses a giant hammer, and new Phantom echoes, Gulpuff and Lumiscale Construct.
Version 1.3 will feature a variety of new events such as “Where Stars Slumber,” “Amidst the Stars,” “Gifts of Sea Breeze,” “Retro Game Collector,” and “Infinite Battle Simulation.” The main story will continue with Chapter 1, Act 8, focusing on the origins of the Black Shores and their leader, and a new companion story, “Small Wooly, Big Adventures.”
Looking ahead, leaks suggest Version 1.4 will introduce new characters Camellya and Dengdeng, along with potential new skins for Jinshi and Sanhua. However, these details are not confirmed and are subject to change.
