Brawl Stars Season 20, titled “Back to Ranger Ranch,” is set to launch on September 11th, and players are already in the midst of celebrations with the Hypercharge Unleashed Event. This limited-time challenge provides players with the chance to obtain the upcoming item called Hypercharge for the Brawler Shelly, absolutely free. To achieve this, players need to win a few matches of Brawl Stars with a unique twist.
Hypercharge is a new item being introduced to Brawl Stars in Season 20, and it will roll out in phases to different Brawlers, starting with Shelly, Colt, Bull, Spike, Jacky, and Pearl. The Hypercharge Unleashed Event is designed to give players a head start by allowing them to obtain the item for Shelly before the season officially begins. After the season launches, Hypercharge will be available for other eligible Brawlers as part of the Collectors Pack in the shop, priced at 9600 Coins or 299 Gems.
The Hypercharge Unleashed Event started on September 5th and will conclude on September 11th, coinciding with the release of Brawl Stars Season 20. It runs for nearly a week, offering a unique and relatively attainable reward.
The sole reward for completing the Hypercharge Unleashed Event is the Hypercharge item for Shelly. This item enhances a Brawler’s super ability and primary attack for a short duration. To use it, players must charge it up by damaging enemies. For Shelly, the Hypercharge ability provides the following bonuses:
- Shelly Super: 33% Larger
- Shelly Speed: 25% Increase
- Shelly Damage: 25% Increase
- Shelly Shield: Gets Bonus 15% Shield
To complete the event, players need to select “Hypercharge Unleashed” from the game mode selection panel under the “Special Events” tab. They must then win 25 games, although this task, while challenging, is not overly complicated.
Hypercharge Unleashed is a 3v3 game mode where players are assigned one of the six available Brawlers at random, each equipped with Gadgets, Star Powers, Gears, and their respective Hypercharge abilities. The Brawlers and game modes are also randomly selected from Shelly, Colt, Bull, Spike, Jacky, Pearl, and Brawl Ball, Gem Grab, and Bounty.
This event serves as an excellent opportunity for players to get acquainted with the Brawlers receiving the Hypercharge ability in Season 20. It allows players to learn how to use and counter this new item, which will become a staple in Brawl Stars moving forward.
