Genshin Impact’s 4.0 update introduced the breathtaking nation of Fontaine, inspired by France, and players are eager to explore this new region. While the main storyline’s Archon Quest is the usual way to unlock new nations, you don’t have to wait if you’re excited to start your adventure in Fontaine. Here’s a guide on how to get there.
To reach Fontaine, head to the shore in the Realm of Farakhkert, beyond the Vorukasha Oasis and Asipattravana Swamp, and pass through the Hills of Barsom. Continue north, and you’ll reach a Teleport Waypoint at the entrance of a tunnel called Chemin Oublie, which appears to have been dug to ease access to the Hydro Nation.
Crossing the tunnel is straightforward with no twists or turns. Once through, you’ll find yourself on the other side. Another Waypoint awaits at the Desert’s edge, providing a view of the Romaritime Harbor. You’re now halfway there.
To complete your journey, head north and follow a path down to the shore or glide down. At the shore’s edge, you’ll find a Waverider Waypoint. Hop on a Waverider to cross to Fontaine.
Upon arriving at the Romaritime Harbor, head north towards the center, where you’ll see stairs leading up to an elevator. Ride the elevator to the upper level, where you can unlock the Statue of the Seven, granting you fast-travel access to Fontaine.
