October’s Pokémon Go Community Day is just around the corner, and this time, Timburr will be taking the spotlight. Scheduled for October 15th, between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. local time, the event will feature an increased appearance of Timburr, along with its Shiny variant. The goal is to catch as many Timburr as possible to gather the Candy needed for its evolution into Gurdurr and ultimately into Conkeldurr. Trainers who achieve this during the event, or up to five hours afterward, will receive a Timburr with the Charged Attack Brutal Swing.
To make things more rewarding, the event offers several bonuses, including 3x Stardust and 2x Candy for catching Pokémon. Trainers above level 31 will have double the chance of earning Candy XL. Lure Modules and Incense activated during the event will last for three hours, and trade costs will be halved. Trainers can also make an extra Special Trade for the day.
For those who participate by taking snapshots, there will be surprises in store. If you don’t manage to catch enough Timburr by 5:00 p.m., Bonus Raid Battles will remain available until 10:00 p.m., with Gurdurr appearing more frequently after defeating it in a 4-star battle. Additionally, paid Special Research and free Field Research tasks will be available during the event.
