In Payday 3’s inaugural heist, No Rest For The Wicked, players can dive into the world of heisting, choosing between a stealthy approach or a more direct one. For those opting for stealth, knowing how to locate and utilize the vault codes is crucial. Follow these simple steps to ensure a successful heist every time.

Getting Past the Security Gate

Stealth is the key to accessing the vault codes. First, players must bypass the security gate. To achieve this, turn off the power to the vault gate and disable the security system. Obtain a colored keycard from a security guard, ensuring it’s the right one by locating the security room. The keycard will be hanging off the back pocket of the guard. Next, disable the security system by locating the gate to the vault room. Find the closed panel containing the password, connected to a red wire. Follow the wire to its power source and deactivate it.

Grabbing an Executive

With the path to the vault clear, players need to find an executive with vault access. These NPCs can typically be found in the Manager’s Office or the second floor’s private area. Grab the executive as a human shield and use them to activate the retina scanner at the vault door.

Unlocking the Manager’s Computer

Locate the manager’s computer, usually found in the Manager’s Office. Upon activation, players will receive a Vault Request containing four unique codes. Each entry into the heist offers different codes, making it impossible to brute force the combination. The key lies in narrowing down the possibilities.

Getting the Vault Code Correct

Approach the vault door keypad carefully, avoiding detection by guards or civilians. A UV light will automatically shine on the keypad, revealing fingerprints from the executive who entered the code. Look for the fingerprints corresponding to the numbers provided in the Vault Request. Match the fingerprints with the correct code, ensuring a successful entry. A correct input will make the keypad glow green, indicating the vault is now accessible.

Be cautious, as multiple incorrect attempts will result in a one-minute cooldown for the keypad reset.

Master the art of stealth in Payday 3’s No Rest For The Wicked and secure your place among the finest heisters.
