Mortal Kombat 1 Unleashes Omni-Man’s Unstoppable Might in New Trailer, Set to Debut in November

NetherRealm Studios Reveals the First Playable DLC Character, Omni-Man from Invincible, Arriving Next Month, Alongside Tremor – The First New Kameo Fighter.

NetherRealm Studios has unveiled the first DLC character for Mortal Kombat 1, and it’s none other than Omni-Man from the hit series Invincible, voiced by the talented J.K. Simmons. In an explosive trailer, Omni-Man showcases his raw and relentless power, demonstrating his superiority even against the formidable Fire God Liu Kang. This exciting addition to the Mortal Kombat universe is set to debut next month, so get ready for intense battles.

Omni-Man takes a straightforward and brutal approach when it comes to combos, focusing on sheer power rather than flashy moves. He delivers bone-crushing punches and hurls opponents with terrifying strength. He’s equipped with a dodge that allows him to teleport behind his adversary, delivering rapid and devastating strikes. Fans of the series will recognize his Fatal Blow, which pays homage to the iconic “Think, Mark, think!” scene from the comics and the TV series.

However, it’s Omni-Man’s Fatalities that steal the spotlight. One Fatality involves using an opponent’s body to wreak havoc on a passing train, while the other showcases his gruesome ability to crush a skull with his bare hands. These Fatalities pay homage to Omni-Man’s dark deeds in the Invincible series. In the midst of all the chaos, fans can also catch a glimpse of Tremor, the first DLC Kameo Fighter.

Both Omni-Man and Tremor are set to join the Mortal Kombat 1 roster in November as part of the Kombat Pack, available for $39.99. Players can also choose to purchase these characters individually. Stay tuned for more updates, and don’t forget to explore our review of the base game.
