Payday 3, the action-packed sequel to the beloved franchise, offers thrilling array of heists for players to immerse themselves in. In one particularly notable heist, featuring Ice-T in the mission debriefing screen, players are tasked with infiltrating a secure storage facility to acquire valuable materials. Known as the “99 Boxes” heist, this mission introduces an intriguing twist: the need for a refrigerated truck escape route. Maintaining loot value during transport requires storing it at low temperatures, a crucial element that players need to set up.

To effectively set up the refrigerated truck during the 99 Boxes heist in Payday 3, players must discreetly infiltrate the primary warehouse building.

Locating the Liquid Nitrogen in Payday 3

Accessing the warehouse area is the initial step in the 99 Boxes heist. Players should head to the guardhouse on the left upon spawning. In this area, they will discover a gate that can be unlocked, granting entry to the secure warehouse parking zone. It’s essential to exercise caution since security cameras oversee this region. There’s one camera mounted on the main warehouse building and another on the guard post, which players must pass when breaching the locked chain-link fence. Ascend the stairs, unlock the door, and stealthily make their way inside the warehouse.

Within the warehouse, players will encounter several employees and two patrolling guards. To find the refrigerated truck, they should head to the far right corner. Interacting with the back door opens the cargo hold.

The next task is to locate a pressurized container of liquid nitrogen, hidden within one of the numerous crates scattered throughout the warehouse. Positioned in opposite corners, two cameras oversee the warehouse, with crates offering blind spots, enabling stealthy searches without elimination.

Players can quickly locate each crate in the following locations:

1. To the left of the forklift near the middle shelving units
2. In the back row of shelves by the refrigerated truck, concealed behind a large crate
3. In the rear corner, near a ladder and the staircase
4. In the opposite warehouse corner from the refrigerated truck, positioned behind one of the guards’ surveillance points

Once the liquid nitrogen is acquired, players should transport it back to the cargo hold of the truck. To properly refrigerate the vehicle, interact with the empty canister silhouette in the cargo hold to install the fresh nitrogen tank. With the refrigerated truck now set up and ready for extraction, players can shift their focus to securing the loot during this thrilling heist.
