Unlock the Streamside Stash in Alan Wake 2 with This Key Location Guide

Alan Wake 2 features a hidden Cult Stash near the Crow’s Foot Hills, within the enigmatic world of Cauldron Lake. To access the contents of this Cult Stash, players must acquire the Streamside Stash Key. This guide aims to assist players in locating the Streamside Stash Key and using it to unlock the Cult Stash nestled by the stream.
Alan Wake 2: Streamside Stash Key & Container Locations

As previously mentioned, the Cult Stash container, accessible with the Streamside Stash Key, is situated near the Crow’s Foot Hills, in the southwestern region of Cauldron Lake. Specifically, it can be found in a campsite to the north of the Crow’s Foot Hills. The map above provides the precise location for this container.
To find the Streamside Stash Key, players should head to the campsite north of the Crow’s Foot Hills, activate their flashlights, and look southward. A series of yellow arrows on the trees will guide players in the right direction, leading them to the key placed atop a rock. For clarity, the map in this guide also marks the Streamside Stash Key’s location. Once obtained, players can return to the container to unlock it.

Within the container opened by the Streamside Stash Key, players will discover a Hand Flare, Shotgun Ammo, and a Trauma Pad. While not the most glamorous items, these supplies can be immensely valuable, especially in the early stages of Alan Wake 2. Therefore, players are encouraged to take a moment to address the Streamside Stash Key and its container before embarking on further explorations in Cauldron Lake.
It’s worth noting that this is not the sole Cult Stash in Cauldron Lake, and another resides within the Streamside area. To unlock this container, players will need to solve the Rock Rock Tree puzzle, which may initially appear challenging. However, applying the knowledge gained from the Streamside Stash Key can assist players in resolving this puzzle.
Alan Wake 2 is available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
