Qingque, a character in Honkai Star Rail, offers players a unique and luck-based gameplay experience. Her kit is built around randomness, making battles both satisfying and potentially frustrating. Despite being a 4-star character, Qingque excels at dealing significant AoE and Toughness Break damage, making her a valuable addition to any player’s roster.

  1. Satisfying (and maybe frustrating) luck-based gameplay: Qingque’s abilities rely on luck and RNG, with players aiming to match four of the same tiles for maximum damage. Achieving this can be incredibly satisfying, akin to the excitement of pulling a 5-star character in Gacha games. If luck doesn’t favor you, her Ultimate ability guarantees four matching tiles.
  2. Perfect for Mono-Quantum teams: Qingque is a strong candidate for Mono-Quantum teams, which are exceptionally powerful in Honkai Star Rail. Her empowered basic attack can break Toughness on multiple enemies, provided the team can focus on funneling Skill Points into her abilities. Having Silverwolf on the team can further enhance her performance.
  3. Being Unlucky is still Lucky: Qingque’s skill allows her to draw two random tiles and increases her damage with each activation. This can stack up to four times, with the fourth activation guaranteeing four matching tiles. Interestingly, being unlucky can sometimes lead to even higher damage output. Using four Skill Points and then her Ultimate skill maximizes the damage buff before unleashing her enhanced basic attack.
  4. Massive Defense Shred as a Quantum Unit: Qingque’s Quantum-type nature allows her to benefit from powerful relics like the Genius of Brilliant Stars set, which provides up to 20% defense penetration. This effect is invaluable when facing highly durable Elite Bosses.
  5. Benefits from Jing Yuan’s Light Cone and More: Qingque greatly benefits from Light Cones like Jing Yuan’s, known for their strength in Honkai Star Rail. F2P alternatives such as Himeko’s “Night on the Milky Way” Light Cone or other 4-star options are available for players. These Light Cones enhance Qingque’s performance in battle.

In summary, Qingque offers a unique and rewarding gameplay experience in Honkai Star Rail, making her a character worth considering for your roster. Her luck-based abilities can result in high damage output, especially when used strategically in various team compositions and with the right gear.
