In the perilous realms of Lethal Company, players embark on interplanetary journeys to secure valuable items for the Company’s quotas, braving hostile environments filled with monsters and treacherous traps. Amidst the challenges, the Extension Ladder emerges as a crucial tool, offering strategic advantages and newfound traversal capabilities.
Acquiring the Extension Ladder
To obtain this indispensable tool, follow these steps through the Ship’s Terminal:
- Interact with the Terminal.
- Enter the “store” command.
- Input “Extension ladder buy.”
- Confirm the purchase with the “confirm” command.
- Await the Delivery Ship’s arrival on the current moon.
- Retrieve the Extension Ladder from the Delivery Ship.
Versatility of the Extension Ladder
The Extension Ladder proves its worth with dual functionality in vertical and horizontal modes.
Vertical Mode:
- Climb outdoor structures or reach elevated places within facilities.
- Navigate facilities by ascending to higher floors, evading monsters blocking stairwells.
Horizontal Mode:
- Safely cross pits both inside and outside facilities on various moons.
- Avoid the dangers of jumping over uncovered gaps, minimizing the risk of permanent item loss.
However, caution is advised when using the ladder, especially in horizontal mode, as low ceilings may obstruct its deployment.
Utilizing the Extension Ladder
Activate the Extension Ladder by standing in front of the targeted area—whether an elevation to climb or a gap to cross—and press LMB:
- The ladder unfolds vertically when obstacles are present, allowing upward climbs.
- In the absence of obstacles, the ladder falls down, requiring careful deployment to prevent unintended consequences.
Exercise vigilance to avoid accidental harm, as players underneath the falling ladder may incur damage.
Navigate the challenging landscapes of Lethal Company with mastery over the Extension Ladder, expanding your reach and conquering obstacles in pursuit of success.
