Among Us Unveils Largest Indie Collaboration Yet

Innersloth reveals an expansive collaboration with seven indie games, presenting exclusive rewards in a limited-time event for Among Us players.

The gaming universe of Among Us has witnessed its most extensive collaboration yet, now available in a limited-time event offering rewards from seven prominent indie games. Players can acquire these rewards by completing a brand-new Cosmicube track introduced by Innersloth.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Among Us, following the release of The Fungle on October 24. The Fungle, the newest map addition, offers an array of objectives for crewmates and ample opportunities for impostors to sabotage and eliminate their fellow crew members while cleverly covering their tracks. Featuring unique elements like obscuring mushroom patches and confounding mix-up events, The Fungle delivers a refreshing gameplay experience to fans of Innersloth’s acclaimed title.

Among Us expands its offerings,

Revealing the Indie Cosmicube, available until February 28, 2024, in its latest update. Priced at 7,000 Beans, earnable through online gameplay, this reward pass grants players access to a wide range of cosmetic items inspired by indie games such as A Hat In Time, Alien Hominid, Castle Crashers, Celeste, Crypt of the NecroDancer, Undertale, and Untitled Goose Game. Innersloth’s blog post outlines an assortment of items, including 25 hats, 18 skins, 12 nameplates, 9 visors, and 6 pets available in the Indie Cosmicube reward pass.

Players can now sport attire inspired by iconic characters, like Sans’ blue hoodie, Madeline’s signature red hair, and even have the company of a honking goose as a pet during matches. Moreover, the November 28 update not only introduced the Indie Cosmicube but also streamlined development by deprecating support for the 2021 game client. Several bug fixes were implemented in The Fungle map, including adjustments to the mushroom mixup, campfire, and zipline sound effects. Additional improvements addressed issues with quick chat functionality, the shapeshifter role, and resolved a lobby screen black screen bug.

The latest collaboration in Among Us with renowned indie titles amplifies the game’s reach, considering the immense followings these games boast across Twitch and social media platforms. As the calendar turns towards 2024, gamers eagerly anticipate Innersloth’s future plans.
