In Fortnite’s dynamic landscape, gold bars have become a crucial resource, obtained through eliminations, cash registers, and various loots. These bars enable players to unlock weapon modifications, a recent addition to the game’s weaponry. With the freedom to add, remove, and switch mods, players can refine their arsenal. This guide covers the locations of Mod Benches on the map and the available mods to amplify weapons in Fortnite.
Mod Bench Locations
Discovering a Mod Bench in Fortnite isn’t a straightforward task. Only six exist, tucked away within high-security vaults. These vaults require Society Medallions, protected by specific bosses at named locations:
- Oscar: Lavish Lair
- Nisha: Fencing Fields
- Peter Griffin: Snooty Steppes
- Montague: Grand Glacier
- Valeria: Reckless Railways
Upon acquiring a location’s medallion, players can access the vault and its accompanying Weapon Mod Bench by standing near the scanner at the vault door.
Additionally, the last Mod Bench is situated in the basement of the house on the Floating Island. However, the island manifests during the fourth Storm of the match, which occurs later in the game.
Available Mod Bench Modifications
The Weapon Mod Bench presents four mod categories: optic mods, magazine mods, underbarrel mods, and barrel mods. For a fee of 75 gold bars, players can equip a mod that suits their preferences.
