A Glider can transform LEGO Fortnite survival. Here’s how to craft and effectively use this valuable tool.

LEGO Fortnite, a survival crafting adventure set in the world of Epic Games’ popular title Fortnite, offers players a challenging yet engaging experience. Starting with minimal gear, players venture into diverse biomes, gather resources, and build structures to thrive.
Among the essential early-game creations is the Glider, a handy tool aiding in exploration and survival. This guide will assist players in acquiring and utilizing their own Glider in LEGO Fortnite.
How to Get a Glider in LEGO Fortnite

To fashion a Glider, players must first secure a Spinning Wheel, a Loom, and an upgraded Crafting Bench within their base. The recipe for the Glider unlocks upon reaching the Rare tier in the Crafting Bench upgrade. Gather the following materials to upgrade:
- Three Sand Shells
- Six Sand Claws
- 12 Knotroot Rods
- 15 Marble Slabs
Once the bench is upgraded, head to the Tools tab and find the Glider recipe. Collect these items for crafting:
- Four Wool Fabric
- Six Silk Fabric
- Eight Flexwood Rods
Silk is acquired from spiders in the Grassland biome, while Wool comes from sheep in the plains. Process Silk and Wool into Threads using the Spinning Wheel, then weave these Threads into Silk and Wool Fabrics in the Loom. Similarly, process Flexwood in the Lumber Mill to obtain Flexwood Rods. With these materials, crafting the Glider becomes straightforward.
How to Use a Glider in LEGO Fortnite
Gliders drastically ease travel between biomes, although they consume Stamina. Equipped in the Inventory’s Utility slot, Gliders facilitate mid-air navigation after jumping from high points.
To activate the Glider, leap from a high location and press jump again while airborne. This deploys the Glider, enabling smooth gliding. Players should manage Stamina consumption for longer flights and can opt to disable Stamina in Settings for uninterrupted gliding.
