A recent leak from Genshin Impact has surfaced, shedding light on an intriguing combat event slated for the highly anticipated Version 4.4 update. In its updates, the widely-loved RPG, HoYoverse, consistently presents diverse events, including tower defense and Genius Invokation TCG. Combat events, a staple of the game’s updates, have showcased unique twists and rewarding experiences.
According to leaks shared by the reputable Genshin Impact leaker,
HomDGCat, the Version 4.4 combat event will feature five challenges, each comprised of four stages. Notably, the event will restrict players to using trial characters specifically provided for the event. The event structure will initiate with six characters available for selection, with additional characters introduced as the stages progress. Players will have the opportunity to experiment with several of Genshin Impact’s newest characters, including Furina, Navia, and Wriothesley.
This combat event aligns with Genshin Impact’s ongoing efforts to allow players to test characters before committing to gacha pulls. Gacha banners routinely introduce “Test Runs,” enabling players to trial featured characters and earn Primogems as rewards. Furthermore, Story Quests offer immersive opportunities for players to control featured characters during combat sequences, with recent additions like the Navia Story Quest providing a hands-on experience. The highly anticipated Version 4.4 is scheduled for release on January 31.
